At last I had a reply from John on the paper.
"Your man was in the city for about five/six days filming MOVING ON, which is starting t o gather pace in the shadows now. I think the BBC have a big launch planned for it as it's awhoel new daytime plug I think thewy are sick of antiques and houses haha but it's a major thing and I think it is something to do with the new Controller being from here that it's being done in Liverpool or maybe this Cpaital of Culture thing as well. There was a lot about it a few months ago so I think this is the actual prodcution happening at last. 5 dramas, 1 every day for a week, totally separate from each other so not like The Street but having one theme throughout - someone moving house for some reason. i know Sheila Hancock is in one but not the one you want. Richard Armitage is in one with Christine Tremarco and Sharon Duce but I don't know what the story is. Jimmy McGovern is producing but I htink the actual writers are different, including one from the Street, Mark Pye. They were filming a bit of Richard's in the Magnet last Monday as my muso mate is on the crew. The writer for that one is Sarah Deane (I know her too but haven't seen her in a while, too busy writing telly haha)) so if you saw Richard on the Sunday, I'd say that was his one. I think Esther Wilson is another one so it sounds like a McGovern stable job. SHould be good. You do mean the Spooks man, don't you? If so, that's quite a coupe, being daytime. He's very 'in' right now isn't he? Nice one. I guess the chance of 'doing a McGovern' was too good to pass up. J. PS. I'm doing a charity quiz on Weds at Carras place and I know SD will be there if you'd like me to get any gossip (like a good journo I am, if she remembers who I am (interviewed her when she won some award a few years ago, nice girl). Hope this helps. "

Will post to AA@RAC too.
