First performance and wow. In the round this monster of a show has great pace and takes you along for nearly 3 hours and 40 minutes. It really is an ensemble piece and although Richard Armitage is the headline actor, it is as a whole, a collective that this piece works. Tremendous performances from all the female parts and special mention from me for William Gaunt - he of the Champions - who was able to command the stage with his mere presence.
Vital theatre well worth seeing.

Wow! Riveting theatre. The first half was 2 hours long and it did not feel like it. Every individual performance was of the highest quality but the ensemble was stunning as a dynamic collective. Only small criticism would be the length. I am sure it will get tighter as the run progresses.
My favourite Miller play performed at its best!
.
