I flew from London from SoCal just to see this play (being a Richard Armitage fan for many years). I was in the first row for one performance and I've never been so thrilled by a theatrical play. He was outstanding and the cast was excellent.
Zitat:
Not gonna lie, we went to see this because we love Richard Armitage and we were less enamoured by the idea of the actual play.
How shallow we were. This was an emotionally wrenching, edge of the seat performance that really wrung it out of me. Wonderfully done.
And of course, Richard Armitage was great.
Zitat:
Richard gave a powerful performance, creating a character that was brooding and passionate, full of emotion and inner turmoil. (...) This is a wonderful production, and another triumph for Richard Armitage - I wouldn't have missed seeing him, or it, for the world.
Zitat:
Richard Armitage is larger than life presence and his voice is brilliant, he had me captivated immediately.
Zitat:
Not only is Richard Armitage great, his fellow ensemble were every bit as worth of praise.
Zitat:
Richard Armitage is wonderful, as ever, but oh so powerful, both in voice and presence ... and of course body.
Zitat:
Richard Armitage is a very impressive actor and clearly has a lot of respect for his fellow cast which is so nice to see
Zitat:
The entire cast were superb - Richard Armitage was fantastic as a man falling into pieces as the world goes mad around him, charismatically carried the character and played it with great emotion.
Zitat:
Richard Armitage can play a range of emotions but is most affecting when he has to be tender.
