Das mit dem Kabinett und Schattenkabinett macht auch nicht gerade Sinn! Aber er scheint ja eher politische Gründe für seine Ablehnung zu haben. Love affair with the Tories? Ich dachte immer, man wirft der BBC vor zu links und politisch korrekt zu sein?

Ja, er ist ziemlich entfesselt wütend...

Interessante und ausführliche Kritik zu Folge 5 in einem blog, gefunden von rosfan vom Spooks-Forum. Es gehr vorwiegend um Ros, aber ein bisschen auch um Lucas.

One could say that, subtextually, Lucas wears his tattoo's in exactly the same way as Ros Meyers wears her little black dress to Meynell's bed, for it's in the moment that Ros is safe enough to fracture (in her hotel room) that we recognise the fact Lucas doesn't feel safe (in his safe house) and, more so, that unlike Ros he cannot allow his mask to slip. I like Armitage in this series a lot and think that if 'they' wanted Lucas' mask to slip, Armmitage has the acting range really to bring home the performance. He strikes me as someone who, unlike Penry-Jones, is a really good foil and complement for Hermione Norris, and she? Norris truly shines in the interplay between Ros displaying and hiding emotion.

While I like Lucas and Armitage's portrayal of him vastly, I'm still grappling to really learn his character and what drives him. Although I like how they are not blantantly playing the "intensely traumatised" card, which I think the show tends to do with some frequency. The fact that Lucas is holding it all in check for the time being is only going to be more interesting when and if (and surely it must?) come to a head.

I'm far more bothered at the idiotic decision to blow up the exquisite Rupert Penry-Jones in episode one of the new season of Spooks.

There goes a truly deserving candidate for an £18million a year salary – my Monday nights are just not the same, and I fear the country lies dangerously unprotected with only the dubious talents of that bloke from Robin Hood beavering away in MI5.

As saddened as I am by the thoughtless decision not to throw enough money at the irreplaceable R P-J to ensure his continued presence on our screens, it hasn't convinced me to cancel the direct debit for the TV licence.

Was soll denn bitteschön diese unqualifizierte Aussage! Jeder der das ganze objektiv betrachtet - von uns kann man das natürlich nicht ganz uneingeschränkt sagen - muss anerkennen das Richard eine gute Leistung abliefert - das hat sich mir bisher auch in den Aussagen der Leute aus dem Spooksforum so dargestellt.

Bin auch ehrlich gesagt, ein wenig geschockt über die Hausnummer, die da als Gage im Raum steht, denn das dürfte mitnichten eine so hohe Summe sein! Ich denke, dass da eine Kommastelle verrutscht sein dürfte (wenn nicht sogar um zwei Stellen!)!

Man muss natürlich sehen, dass dies die Aussage eines richtigen Hardcore-Fans ist. Ich bin da sehr ehrlich, denn natürlich war für mich auch "Spooks" nicht mehr dasselbe nach MMs Abgang (und noch ehrlicher geht es nicht mehr - es ist es bis heute nicht, trotz RA! ). Allerdings bin ich dann wenigstens so fair, seinen Nachfolger nicht als völligen Idioten hinzustellen.

Über alles Weitere lasse ich mich gerne mal zu einem späteren Zeitpukt aus, wie gesagt, würde ich gerne das Ende der Staffel 7 abwarten, bevor ich größere Kommentare abgebe.

Meines Wissens ist 1 Mio. Pfund das allerhöchste war für einen Seriendarsteller drin ist (CE in DW), die 18 Mio. kriegen nur eine Handvoll Hollywoodstars. Ich bin eigentlich eher angenehm überrascht, dass Kritiken wie diese hier die absolute Ausnahme sind. Ich hatte mit mehr Geschrei über den Verlust von RPJ und mehr Ablehnung auf Grund von Vorurteilen gegenüber RA gerechnet.

PS: @Doris: bin sehr gespannt, auf deinen ehrlichen und unvoreingenommenen Kommentar.

Oh dear... ich ahne nix gutes und werde alle weiteren spoiler ab jetzt umgehen!

Naja, weiß nicht, inwieweit ich das gutheißen kann, einem 2-Jährigen eine Explosion zu zeigen... Aber vielleicht finde ich es auch nur krass, dass selbst 2- und 4-jährige Kinder da mehr Mut haben als ich, die es immer noch nicht gesehen hat.

Ich habe eher das Gefühl, der Gagenbetrag ist so ein Wunschtraum des Fans, quasi daß RPJ buchstäblich jeden Betrag wert wäre.
Und sooo toll fand ich RPJ beileibe nicht, daß ich seinen Verlust nicht verschmerzen könnte, selbst wenn jemand ganz anderes als RA übernommen hätte! (Sorry, Becci! ) Exquisite?
Und auf das Land hat Adam ja auch nicht so toll aufgepaßt, wenn ich da an einige eklatante Fehlentscheidungen (z.B. den Terroristen, den er zu dem arabischen Prinzen geschleppt hat, oder Anna) denke...

Angesichts der Äußerungen von Ian Wylie zu den letzten Folgen schwant mir nichts Gutes...

Oh je, diese Wylie-Äußerungen verheißen wohl wirklich nichts Gutes... Hmmm, da geisterte doch mit den veröffentlichen Fotos aus dem Staffelfinale so ein Gerücht durch den Raum, es werde eine Hauptfigur getötet. Expect the unexpected - könnte in dem Zusammenhang jemand sein, auf den jetzt noch keiner setzt.

Aber dieser Wylie ist immer am Ball, auf dem neuesten Stand, das muss man ihm lassen!

Sie können gerne eine Hauptfigur killen, auch eine mit der im Moment keiner rechnet, solange sie Lucas und Harry in Ruhe lassen.
