Kleines Update: Es ist ein Nachtdreh angesetzt von ca. 19 Uhr Montag bis ca. 3 Uhr Dienstag.

'Berlin Station' dein zweiter Name ist 'Nachtdreh'. Ich freue mich sehr, Doris, dass Du so nah dran bist. Danke dafür, dass Du es uns verraten hast.

Münchner Filmfest zeigt US-Filmdebüt von Jannis Niewöhner
Krefeld. Gestern hat das renommierte Münchener Filmfest begonnen: Der 25-jährige Schauspieler Jannis Niewöhner aus Hüls ist dort gleich mit zwei Filmproduktionen zu sehen. Unter anderem mit seinem US-Debüt. In diesen Tagen hat der Krefelder die Dreharbeiten seiner ersten amerikanischen Filmproduktion beendet. In der zweiten Staffel drehte er in der erfolgreichen Agentenserie "Berlin Station" mit Richard Armitage ("Der Hobbit"), Rhys Ifans ("Notting Hill"), Richard Jenkins ("Six feet under") in Andalusien und in den Babelsberger Filmstudios.

Beim Blitz-Scan des Programmes konnte ich BS aber nicht entdecken... Hat da jemand Berlin Station mit Berlin falling (mit Ken Duken) verwechselt?
Sorry, falls ich hier eine Ente verbreiten sollte...

Mir scheint es recht unwahrscheinlich, dass etwas von der 2. Staffel von 'Berlin Station' gezeigt wird, während noch gedreht wird.

Damit würde ich auch überhaupt nicht rechnen.

'Berlin Station 2' wird heute der Television Critics Association vorgestellt. Die geben wirklich Gas! Ashley Judd ist als Repräsentantin da:

Laut Varity startet die zweite Staffel von BS in den USA am 15.10.

Danke. Damit entspricht der Ausstrahlungzeitraum ungefähr dem der 1. Staffel. Die Postproduktion arbeitet somit noch schneller.

‘Berlin Station’ EP Talks Tonal Shift In Upcoming Season 2 & More — TCA

Epix’s original scripted series Berlin Station took the stage on day 1 of the TCA tour to offer tidbits on what’s to come in the new season. Created by Olen Steinhauer, the first season followed Daniel Miller (Richard Armitage), a new arrival at Berlin’s CIA station who is on a clandestine mission to uncover the source of the Thomas Shaw leaks.

Season 2, which is currently in production, opens in the thick of a New World Order that has taken root and is steadily deepening. Showrunner/EP Bradford Winters said “the idea behind the second season is the station taking power into its own hands having been the subject of forces beyond its control. It’s very much a flipping of the table.”

The new season, said Winters, will also see a bit of the tonal shift. “In season one we happily surprised ourselves about half way though the season, when we found ourselves taking the turn for a bit of a thriller in the middle of a journey. It was great because we found ourselves with a leg in each sub genre, spy drama and spy thriller. It opened up the show creatively going forward, to move back and forth between the two and straddle that divide…we really enter the second season with that fluidity in mind.”

Winters was joined onstage by Season 2 newcomer Keke Palmer and Ashley Judd, who talked about the importance of portraying strong female leaders. It’s “the type of women the world needs right now,” Judd said.

Judd, who plays BB Yates, Berlin’s disarming new Chief of Station, nicknamed “The Station Whisperer” for her itinerant work in the field shoring up CIA stations in moral or corporate disrepair, spoke about her roots in taking on projects with badass female roles.

“There are plenty of people who like to squelch the general badassery of strong women everywhere. It is a mantle I assumed as a college student when a member of the board of trustees said something undeniably racist. I felt that his ongoing presence on the board of trustees was inappropriate.. all of that was a great lesson for me. I learned to put principals above personality.”

From Paramount Television and Anonymous Content, the new season of Berlin Station debuts October 15.

The second seasons of breakout original series “Berlin Station” and “Graves” will debut in October, with “Berlin Station” returning on Sunday, October 15 at 9:00 PM ET/PT, and “Graves” on Sunday, October 22 at 10:00 PM ET/PT, and the recently-announced original documentary film “Danica,” directed by Hannah Storm, will air on Wednesday, November 8 at 8:00 PM ET/PT.



About “Berlin Station”

Season two of Berlin Station opens in the thick of a New World Order that has taken root and is steadily deepening. In the wake of the Far Right tide sweeping across continental Europe, Germany finds itself on the precipice of a pivotal election. Season two stars Richard Armitage as Daniel Miller, Rhys Ifans as Hector Dejean, Richard Jenkins as Steven Frost, Leland Orser as Robert Kirsch and Michelle Forbes as Valerie Edwards. Hoffentlich haben wir wieder genauso ein Glück mit dem Anschauen wie bei S1.

Eigentlich hoffe ich ja, dass die Vertriebswege jetzt einigermaßen vorgegeben sind... und die halblegalen Klimmzüge diesmal nicht notwendig sind.
