Das ist wirklich interessant. Vor allem die These, dass jeder Mensch quasi multiple Persönlichkeiten besitzt, die er je nach Situation und Umfeld benutzt...

Michael Degen ( dt. TV-Schauspieler) hat mal in einem Interview gesagt, dass man irgendwann, wenn man lange genug im Geschäft ist, seine ureigene Persönlichkeit verliert und immer, auch im Privatleben, irgendwie schauspielert. Das fand ich zwar ein bisschen traurig, aber auch sehr ehrlich.

Ich kann nur von mir reden, aber ich muss Kunden anrufen, falls sich der Termin verzögert oder ein neuer ausgemacht werden muss. Je nachdem, wie mir der Kunde rüberkommt stelle ich mich auf ihn ein: mit einer alten Omi, die ganz aufgeregt ist oder froh ist, dass überhaupt jemand anruft, rede ich anders als mit einem Geschäftsmann, der mir gleich erklären will, wie ich zu arbeiten habe (bestes Beispiel: eine Hebamme, die mir vorschreiben wollte, wie und vor allem wann ich was machen sollte - der antwortete ich nur, dass ich ihr ja auch nicht erkläre, wie sie die Babys auf die Welt bringt ). Und die Beruf-Nicole ist eine andere als die Privat-Nicole.

Jede von uns füllt eine ganze Reihe verschiedener sozialer Rollen aus, die differieren: Freundin, Partnerin, Arbeitnehmerin, Kind, Elternteil, Liebhaberin, Chefin, Antragstellerin, Helferin, Hilfesuchende, ....

Berlin Station geht nun auch für Richard los.

Tamlyn Tomita (Resurrection, The Day After Tomorrow), Leland Orser (Ray Donovan), Richard Dillane (Wolf Hall, The Dark Knight), and Bernhard Schütz (A Most Wanted Man) have rounded out the cast of Berlin Station, Epix ‘s contemporary spy series from Paramount TV and Anonymous Content. The 10-part series is shooting in Berlin for premiere in fall 2016 on Epix.

Berlin Station follows Daniel Meyer Richard Dillane(Richard Armitage), a newly anointed case officer who has arrived at the CIA foreign station in Berlin to uncover the source of a leak who has supplied information to a whistleblower. Guided by jaded veteran, Case Officer Hector DeJean (Rhys Ifans) — a darkly charming, tenacious agent who works for Chief Steven Frost (Richard Jenkins) — Daniel learns to contend with the rough-and-tumble world of the field agent — agent-running, deception, the dangers and moral compromises.

Tomita plays Sandra Abe, a quiet presence lording over the efficient operation of Berlin Station while having an affair with her boss, Steven Frost. Orser is Robert Kirsch, a devoted and successful Deputy Chief who digs intelligence out of the capital through a mix of force, diligence and cleverness. Dillane will play Deputy Liaison Gerald Ellman, a gentle, reserved man who plans his transfer to Budapest, but finds himself in a position of being collateral damage; and Schütz is Hans Richter, an old-world spy who has risen, against all odds, to the highest ranks of the BfV.

Ich war ja anfangs etwas überrascht, dass Richard einen Serienvertrag unterschrieben hat - und dann nochmals als Spook Spy. Ich habe mich dann mit dem Vergleich mit 'House of Cards' und allem, was Kevin Spacey über das derzeitige Potenzial amerikanischer Serien sagte, "getröstet" bzw. es mir damit erklärt. Und wenn ich mir die Promo-Power etc. anschaue, die jetzt schon in das Projekt gesteckt wird, scheint diese Erklärung gar nicht so verkehrt zu sein. 'Berlin Station' scheint ein Flaggschiff für EPIX zu werden.
