Vivid's big new action figure line for 2007 is based on the BBC Drama Series Robin Hood, and a couple of the show's cast were on hadn today to officially unveil the toyline..


Vivid Imaginations launches a range of action figures and playsets based on the hit BBC series from Tiger Aspect Productions. Product will roll out in time for the second series on air later in the year.

The timeless tale of good triumphing over evil is retold for a new generation, featuring a young, dynamic cast and thrilling action-packed adventures.

Fans can recreate battle scenes from the series with the foreboding Castle Playset (£39.99) home to the formidable Sheriff of Nottingham and his henchmen. The ultimate medieval stronghold, the Castle Playset has large doors which open up to reveal a working portcullis, trap doors, rope slide, dungeon, stocks and many other features and sound effects designed to bring the world of Robin Hood to life!

5” and 12” articulated versions of the key characters from the series: Robin Hood, Little John, Guy of Gisbourne, Sheriff of Nottingham and Night Watchman feature alongside a 12” Talking Robin Hood figure (£14.99) and two highly detailed 5” Figure With Horse Sets (£12.99).

Children can do battle with a collection of authentic Role Play Sets and Dress Up Kits designed to put children in the thick of the action! Take aim with the ultimate Bow & Arrow Set (£14.99) which includes an air-powered bow with electronic sounds effects, 3 foam arrows and plastic quiver, or dress up as Robin complete with Bow & Arrow accessories (£19.99).

Launching in Summer 2007, the Vivid Imaginations Robin Hood range also includes four challenging 60, 100, 500 and 1000 piece Jigsaw Puzzles (from £4.99 - £9.99) so children can recreate iconic images from the series.

Whilst there was no photography of the product on show at Vivid today, two of the stars, Jonas Armstrong (Robin Hood) and Gordon Kennedy (Little John) of the TV Series dropped by for a press op, and posed with a couple of the figures. Ein 30cm große GoG-Figur, schon der Gedanke daran macht mich fertig. hnmacht: Für unterwegs reicht dann das kleinere Exemplar. Aber den redenden Robin können sie im Lager behalten. Bööööh, wer will denn den. Was soll der denn sagen: Ich bin ein Milchbubi, hab mich lieb.

Jonas Armstrong hat auf den Bildern seine Robin-Figur in den Händen und so nebeneinander sehe ich überhaupt keine Ähnlichkeiten. Und hätten die nicht vielleicht mal die GoG-Figur mit in die Kamera halten können. Die interessiert doch viel mehr.

30cm ???...oje ... hnmacht: ... die kann man dann doch so schlecht verstecken...und dann findet die der OH zufällig...*sich gerade ein peinliches Szenario asumalt* ...ähhhh....uiuiuiui hnmacht:

Die ist wirklich ganz schön groß... (und hat keinerlei Ähnlichkeit mit Robin)
