Remember Robin Hood? This is what the cast of hit BBC drama looks like now

The BBC's adaptation of Robin Hood was on between 2006 and 2009. Here's what the cast is up to these days.

The BBC's Robin Hood started in 2006 (making it 12-years-old), and ran for three series. It ended in 2009, after Jonas Armstrong (who played Robin) decided not to return for a fourth series, wanting instead to pursue other projects.

Showrunners ultimately decided not to push ahead without him (it's hard to make Robin Hood without Robin Hood), and the cast and crew went on to pastures new.

What have they been doing in the years since Robin Hood ended? Find out here (and remember to click the flipcards to see what each actor looks like now).

Robin Hood (Jonas Armstrong)

Jonas Armstrong has continued working on TV, and has starred in Ripper Street, Line of Duty and Prisoners' Wives. He'll next be appearing as Bob Geldof in Urban Legends.

Maid Marian (Lucy Griffiths)

Lucy Griffiths' biggest post-Robin Hood role has been in US series Preacher. She's also appeared in True Blood.

Much (Sam Troughton)

Sam Troughton has acted on TV and on the West End since Robin Hood finished, and he's also in Netflix horror movie The Ritual.

Sheriff of Nottingham (Keith Allen)

Keith Allen (dad of singer Lily Allen and Game of Thrones actor Alfie Allen) played the menacing Sheriff of Nottingham. He's since starred in Marcella, Death in Paradise and film Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

Guy of Gisbourne (Richard Armitage)

Richard Armitage was an established actor before he starred in Robin Hood (with roles on Cold Feet, The Vicar of Dibley and North & South under his belt), and he's had a lot of success since.

He appeared in The Hobbit trilogy as Throin, and has also been in Alice Through the Looking Glass.

We'll next see him in Ocean's 8.

Allan A Dale (Joe Armstrong)

Joe Armstrong has an impressive list of acting credits post-Robin Hood - he's been in Happy Valley (pictured), Land Girls, The Village, and Britannia.

He's currently filming a new series called Gentleman Jack.

Will Scarlett (Harry Lloyd)

Harry Lloyd (Charles Dickens' great-great-great-grandson) played Viserys Targaryen in the early series of Game of Thrones, and has also had a number of film roles. He was in The Theory of Everything, The Iron Lady, Jane Eyre and The Riot Club.

Djaq (Anjali Jay)

After playing Djaq on Robin Hood, Anjali Jay has worked on two major US TV series (iZombie and Supergirl), and has had numerous guest roles as well.

She's also appeared in films The Age of Adaline, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb and Power Rangers.

Little John (Gordon Kennedy)

Gordon Kennedy has had a recurring role on Casualty, and he's also starred in TV series The Halycon (above) and The Windsors.

He was also in Trainspotting sequel, T2.

Kate (Joanna Froggatt)

Joanne Froggatt is probably most famous for her role on Downton Abbey (as Anna Bates). She was also in two mini-series - Liar and Dark Angel, and she voices Wendy on Bob the Builder as well.

Die Bildauswahl zu Richard ist auch sehr interessant. :grins:
