Anthony Head - known for roles in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Little Britain - is currently busy filming scenes for his latest project - a Netflix thriller titled The Stranger.

The drama is the latest collaboration between the streaming service and Harlan Coben - whose show Safe was met with warm reviews last year.

Anthony, 65, joined co-star Richard Armitage, 47, on a building site in Greater Manchester.

Anthony looked smart in a grey suit and a long trench coat, a pink and white striped tie completing the look.

The pair were seen stood among the rubble, with police tape cordoning off the scene.

Richard plays Adam Price, the series’ protagonist who finds himself tangled in a mysterious web of deception.

His steady life, two wonderful sons and watertight marriage all seem unassailable – until The Stranger reveals a shocking secret about his wife.

The series is based on the bestselling novel by author Coben and also stars Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man and The Wasp, Ready Player One) who will play the title character - a mysterious stranger who exposes people’s secrets, dropping bombshells that will shatter lives.

Also starring: Happy Valley's Siobhan Finneran takes a leading role as a punchy police detective, DS Johanna Griffin, who finds her pragmatic approach to police work compromised when her investigation into the matter becomes deeply personal
