'We dreamed all night long about the @NBCHannibal S3 premiere date,' the tweet read. "#Hannibal #WeAreReady.'
"The site went on to specify that the date they would prefer would be 'on a Tuesday,' however, it is still not confirmed if that would fall in line with what NBC plans," the report added.
Meanwhile, news of returning cast members is another reason for fans to watch out for "Hannibal" season 3.
"We know of 'Hannibal' season 3 that Gillian Anderson has been upgraded to series regular as Dr. Bedelia du Maurier, last cryptically seen flying alongside Hannibal in the post-credits tag of season 2 finale bloodbath 'Mizumono,'" Screen Crush continued to say.
"Raul Esparza will return to the role of Dr. Frederick Chilton, and Bryan Fuller suggested Eddie Izzard could return to the role of the late Dr. Abel Gideon as well."
"Hannibal" season 3 spoilers are also giving audiences a glimpse of what to expect when the show returns. In TV Guide interview with executive producer Brian Fuller, a lot of details have been revealed about the upcoming run, including the mysterious appearance of Dr. Du Maurier in the last moments of season 2.
"The answers to exactly why Bedelia Du Maurier is on a plane to France with Hannibal Lecter is all part of the first episode of Season 3, which will essentially function as a new pilot for a new series because everything's different," Fuller said.
"Season 3 is going to be a lot of fun because it's going to be taking a lot of disparate elements from the novel Hannibal Rising and the novel Hannibal and mashing them up together as part of the thrust of the season. It's going to be fun to bastardize two novels into one sort of Frankenstein season. I will brace everybody right now: We're significantly changing the Hannibal origin story from Hannibal Rising."
