Ehm ... zurück zum Thema. Jetzt würde ich nur gern wissen welcher von Alan Hunter's Gently-Romanen als Vorlage für die Verfilmung dient.

Leider machen sie uns die Wahl nicht leicht, denn kein Buch heißt direkt 'Gently's Last Case'. :nix: Und ob es dann das letzte Buch in dieser Auflistung ist, bääähh, ich hab keine Ahnung.

Und ich denke, dass es eine größere Rolle wird, so erfolgreich wie sein GoG überall ankommt, er in VoD der "Star" ist und das auch extra erwähnt wird....

Und Martin Shaw sehe ich sehr gern! Aber wenn die Serie in den Fünfzigern spielt, ist wohl doch eher so ein Biker zu erwarten...


Obwohl, wenn "Gently's Last Case" die letzte Folge von 32 Büchern ist, sind sie dann wahrscheinlich schon in den Sechzigern gelandet.

Its set near Durham (the biker gang is called the Durham Defenders)
From the bits of the script I've seen Gently is a detective who is nearing the end of his career and is working with some officers he doesn't approve of
Its set in the 60s
The pilot centres around two murders connected with the biker gang
Its finished filming in the past few weeks and they're hopeful that it will be put on TV

Thats all I picked up but it was filmed here in ireland (mainly Wicklow) and the budget seemed pretty good so thats a good sign

Now this isn't all double verified its only what I heard through the grapevine on set

Wenn sich der Fall wirklich um eine Biker-Gang dreht, besteht Hoffnung, daß RA nicht nur durchs Bild knattert, sondern seine Rolle wichtig ist - als dritten Biker von Links würden sie ihn wohl nicht besetzten.

Was heißt hier hopefully? Ich dachte das läuft schon fix auf BBC 1.

Und wenn schon Biker, dann wenigstens der Anführer, der auch ein wenig Grips hat (sonst wäre er ja nicht der Anführer )....und der natürlich zu den Hauptverdächtigen zählt. Darunter geht gar nix :beleidigt: .

Er ist zu bekannt, um ganz am Anfang gekillt zu werden, würde ich mal sagen, im Laufe der Story vielleicht schon. Ist es zuviel zu hoffen, daß er der Anführer der Gang oder wahlweise die Schlüsselfigur für den Fall ist ? ...und überhaupt, eine zwielichtige Gang ist viel besser als ein harmloser Sonntagsbiker...
