Actor Richard Armitage is famed for his countless film, television and theatre appearances including as Thorin Oakenshield in The Hobbit movie series.
But what is less well known is his role as director of White Boar Films Limited, a company that he runs from an address above a Turkish restaurant in Surrey.
The company, formed on December 2, 2020, is registered in Ewell above the Hanedan Restaurant and Meze in the High Street.
White Boar Films Limited is currently listed with Companies House as active with Richard Crispin Armitage acting as the only officer, and it lists his occupation as 'actor'.
The nature of business is recorded as 'performing arts' and in his role as company director Mr Armitage has control of 75 per cent or more of the shares and voting rights in the company.
However, he is still maintaining his position as one of of England's most internationally famed actors as he is set to appear in a new Netflix show starting on New Year's Eve.
Armitage will be playing Ray, a failed documentary photographer, in the Netflix miniseries 'Stay Close'.
The series is based on a novel of the same name by Harlan Coben and Armitage's co-stars include James Nesbitt, Cush Jumbo and comedian Eddie Izzard.
The thriller follows a group of people living comfortable lives that are suddenly turned upside down when their past returns to haunt them.
According to his IMDB profile and a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, Armitage was born in a village on the outskirts of Leicester and attended Pattison College in Binley Road, Coventry. He has no well-known Surrey connections prior to his company being listed in Ewell, and splits his time between London and New York.
