Falls das stimmt, bin ich ganz froh, dass sich das nicht bewahrheitet hat. Im Unterschied zu Hannibal ist das für mich echtes Horrorgenre, weil's mit Grusel und Schockeffekten arbeitet. Ich habe damals das Original gesehen und hatte ewig davon Alpträume. Hannibal ist eher gory, aber nicht so gruselig.
Trotzdem, falls er neben Tom Cruise für eine Rolle im Gespräch war- nicht schlecht

But what does intrigue me, if this is true, is that Richard Armitage and Tom Cruise might have been considered, for the same role. Even if it just means they were both on a “wish list,” I’d think they were worlds and $$$ apart in terms of audience draw and salary.
But then, there was a minute there, way back, when we thought Richard Armitage was in consideration for the role of Batman in the Batman/Superman film, here and here and lots of other places) and if so, he was up there with some weighty named actors, none of whom was Ben Affleck.
BTW- apropos Grusel- was wohl aus der Geschichte mit dem Geisterhaus geworden ist? Dieser südamerikanische Streifen. Hat das jemand weiterverfolgt?

! Ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass ich begeistert bin, wie vielfältig er seine Rollenwahl anlegt. So langsam er es vor einiger Zeit noch hat angehen lassen ( kann mich noch gut an den Pessimismus erinnern, der geäußert wurde) - er scheint ganz gezielt ausgewählt zu haben- und nun erntet er die Früchte 
Es sei denn, er schlägt so ein, dass die Serie die Tooth Fairy länger in Anspruch nähme, was ich irgendwie nicht hoffe...
