In der Poldark Appreciation Society scheint Richard viele Anhänger/innen zu haben, dort hatte man sich ja schon im Vorfeld für Richard stark gemacht. Aber ehrlich, Leute, Aidan "should be replaced"? Das ist weder sinnvoll, noch zu erwarten. Aber unabhängig davon, ist es schon ein Quantensprung, dass nun nicht mehr über Richard als Besetzung genörgelt, sondern er als Wunschbesetzung genannt wird.

Poldark fans blast TV bosses because Aidan Turner is too 'skinny' to play lead role
DIEHARD Poldark fans say TV bosses chose the wrong man for the lead role.

Viewers of the original 1970s series say hunky Aidan Turner is too small and that Spooks star Richard Armitage should have been cast instead.
Founder of The Poldark Appreciation Society Val Adams said: “Poldark is meant to be tall and Aidan’s not very big.”
But younger fans can’t get enough of buff Aidan, 31, and have made the show a huge hit, pulling in around seven million viewers on a Sunday night.
Aidan, 31, has been credited for boosting the show’s popularity and has won an army of female admirers.
They have loved seeing him get naked and finally bedding Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson, 22) in the latest episode.
Viewer Glenda Cooper tweeted: “Still thinking.... lucky, lucky Demelza.”
But not everyone is impressed. Fans of the original series starring Robin Ellis, now 73, don’t like it.
They say 5ft 11in Aidan is too small for the part and say he should be replaced by 6ft 2in Richard, 43, who played Lucas North in BBC drama Spooks.
Ms Adams, 70, said: “Aidan is a talented man but he isn’t tall enough.
“He’s the same height as Demelza but should tower over her.”
She thinks the sex scenes were too graphic, adding: “The chemistry between Poldark and Demelza in the original series was far more erotic.”
