Last night was a big night for The Heath Bookshop! Claire and Abi were at the Christmas Book Party (see earlier posts) meeting lots of lovely authors and readers. Meanwhile, Catherine was over at
Camp Hill School where we held an event with Richard Armitage who was speaking about his brilliant book, Geneva! Richard was in conversation with friend of the bookshop, Jo Callaghan, author of In the Blink of An Eye. And what a fascinating and engaging conversation it was! Thank you so much to Richard and to Jo for a wonderful evening.

Huge thanks as well to the audience - some familiar and some new faces, it was great to have you all there and we hope to see you again soon.

And a final thank you to everyone who helped out last night - Phil, Jenny, Maryam, Iona, Tony, Sally, and Liz. You were wonderful!

It was a fun night for us all but very odd for Catherine being on stage alone - Ant without Dec!!

We will be reunited next week for two events - Joe Wilkinson & Henry Paker on Weds 29th and Kehinde Andrews & Derek Owusu on Thurs 30th. See you then!
