It’s always a pleasure to do a show at the #londonpodcastfestival at @kingsplacelondon, and this year was no exception. Lovely venue, lovely audience of appreciative listeners (including a couple who met at one of our live shows, and who were celebrating their fifth anniversary!), lovely guests (ace composer Daniel Pemberton, and equally ace actor-turned-author @richardcarmitage, who graciously answered the call when I slid into his Twitter DMs just two days prior), and lovely laughs and film-related fun with my three colleagues of such lethal cunning.
The whole shebang — with the exception of the interview with Mr. Armitage, which is being held for a month or so — is available now wherever you cast your pods, or you can stream the whole thing in its unedited, chaotic glory for another week or so by buying a pass via Kings Place’s very own KPlayer. Which is available on their site. And I should also point out, because we totally forgot to mention it during the Daniel Pemberton interview, that the music of Into The Spider-Verse will be performed at venues in Europe and America starting very soon, and tickets are on sale now. And Richard Armitage’s debut thriller Geneva is out on October 12, and very good it is too.
Oh, and all pics here are by the wickedly talented, one and only @viktorerikemanuel.
This was one of my favourite live shows. Can’t wait to do it again. Sooner than you’d think, maybe! #empirepodcastlive #BangilyBang #EmpirePodcast #ColleaguesOfSuchLethalCunning #Hashtag #blessed
